John BLAND 
John was born on March 4th, 1758 in VA. John 's father was Robert BLAND and his mother was Jane Ann WORMLEY. His paternal grandparents were Robert BLAND and Jane UNKNOWN. He had four brothers and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Presley , James , Elisha, Wormley , Doshey , Jane , Mary, Lydia "Liddey" and Peyton . He died at the age of 23 on November 17th, 1781 in Cloud Creek, SC.General Notes
Note: Family tradition has it that Robert and his son John were captured by the Tories. John was killed at a place called Cloud Creek by one Cunningham, on 17 Nov. 1781.
