Huram Dow was born in 1811 in KY. Huram Dow's father was Jesse "Old Hardsides" BLAND and his mother was Nancy KIRKPATRICK. His paternal grandparents were Osborne BLAND and Letitia (Lettice) "Lettie" HAMBRICK . He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Moses, S. Calvin, Caleb, Belinda, Sarah Elizabeth and Verlinda W. . He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 87 in 1898 in Dallas Co., AK.General Notes
