Roger de Montgomerie le was born in 0996.1   Roger de Montgomerie le's father was Hugh de Montgomerie Vct de Hiemois and his mother was Sibell de Crêpon.  His paternal grandfather was Roger Rogersson de Montgomerie; his maternal grandfather was Herfast de Crêpon.  He was an only child.  He died about 1040 in Paris, France.1
