Ealhswith of the Gaini 
Ealhswith was born in 0852 in Mercia, England.1 Ealhswith's father was AEthelred Mucil Ealdorman of Mercia and her mother was Eadburga of Mercia. Her paternal grandfather was Mucel; her maternal grandparents were Wigmund of Mercia and Elfleda of Mercia. She was an only child. She died in St. Mary's Abbey, Winchester, Dorset.1 General Notes
