Berswinde was born in 0649.1 Berswinde's father was St. Sigebert III King of Austrasia and her mother was Immachilde (of Austrasia). Her paternal grandparents were Dagobert I of the Franks King of Franks and Ragnetrud (of the Franks). She had a brother named St. Dagobert II. She was the older of the two children.-
