Ivor's father was Bleddri Unknown and his mother was Clydwen Unknown.  His paternal grandparents were Cadivor-Fawr Unknown and Elen Unknown; his maternal grandfather was Griffith ap Cydrich ap Gwaethfoed.  He was an only child.
