George Newcomb Rich 
George Newcomb was born in 1852 in , Marshall, IL.1 George Newcomb's father was Washington Rich and his mother was Selina Province. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Rich and Hannah Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Yard Province and Rachel Reed Spencer. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Daniel, Joseph Yard, Lewis Lorenzo Dow, William Lindsay, Daniel Provance, Benjamin, Arra Minerva, Rachel Ann, Caroline Adelia and Janetta M. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 86 in 1938.1 -
