George Neff Province 
George Neff was born in 1844 in Masontown, Fayette, PA.1 George Neff's father was John Alexander Province and his mother was Euphemia Thompson. His paternal grandparents were David Province and Agnes Hartley. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas T, John Alexander, David Jefferson, William M, Elizabeth A, Charity Ann, Hannah Louisa and Euphemia A. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother named Charles Alexander.-
