Samuel McFerran 
Samuel was born on September 14th, 1846 in Edwards, St Lawrence, NY. Samuel's father was Samuel McFerran and his mother was Mary Ellen Beggs. His maternal grandparents were Robert Beggs and Sarah Whiteford. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Robert, John, Hugh, James Henry, Sarah, Mary Ellen and Nancy Jane. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 78 on December 22nd, 1924.-
