Stephen Macomber 
Stephen was born in 1803.1 Stephen's father was Elijah Macomber and his mother was Eliza Swett. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Macomber and Thankful Canedy. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Adams, Washington, Horatio N, Leonard, John, Julia Ann and Eliza Swett. He was the oldest of the nine children.-
