Cadell ap Rhodri Mawr was born in 0861 in of Deheubarth, Wales.1 Cadell ap Rhodri Mawr's father was Rhodri Mawr Ap Merfyn the Prince of Wales and his mother was Angharad verch Meurig. His paternal grandparents were Merfyn Ap Gwriad the Freckled King of Gwynedd and Nesta verch Cadell; his maternal grandfather was Meurig ap Dyfnwallon. He had two brothers named Anarawd ap Rhodri and Merfyn ap Rhodri Mawr. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 49 in 0910.1 -
