Desire Hotchkiss

Desire was born in 1698.¹   Desire's father was Joshua Hotchkiss and her mother was Hannah Tuttle.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Hotchkiss and Elizabeth Cleverly. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Abraham, Issac, Jacob, Hannah, Priscilla and Abigail.  She was the third youngest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Stephen, Mary and Martha.  She died at the age of 4 in 1702.¹
