James Holeman 
James was born about 1825 in , Wilkes, NC. James' father was William Holeman and his mother was Charity Ferguson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Holeman and Margaret Southerland; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Ferguson and Edith Foster. He had four brothers and six sisters, named William, Enoch, Thomas, John Henry, Lydia, Charlotte, Asa, Eda, Ann and Elizabeth. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died on January 1st, 1864 in , Orange, VA.-
