James Monroe Elliott

James Monroe was born on March 27th, 1820 in Springfield, Clark, OH.¹   James Monroe's father was Alexander Elliott and his mother was Polly Sweet. He had two brothers named Hale and Samuel.  He was the youngest of the three children. He had two half-brothers named John and Joshua.  He died at the age of 76 on March 18th, 1897 in Sycamore, DeKalb, IL.¹
