Joseph was born in 1797 in Upper Township, Cape May, NJ.1 Joseph's father was Parmenas Corson and his mother was Mary Lee. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Corson and Charity Stillwell. He had two brothers named James and Ellis. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 67 in 1864 in , Cape May, NJ.1 -
