Cornelius was born in 1757 in Petersburg, Cape May, NJ.1 Cornelius' father was Peter Corson and his mother was Martha Edwards. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Corson and Naomi Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Josiah Edwards and Sarah Parsons. He had two brothers and a sister, named Elias, Elias and Deborah. He died at the age of 58 in 1815 in Upper Township, Cape May, NJ.1 -
