Israel Chauncey

Israel was born in 1644 in Scituate, Plymouth, MA.¹ Israel's father was Charles Chauncey and his mother was Catherine Eyre. His maternal grandparents were Robert Eyre and Anne Still. He had four brothers and a sister, named Barnabas, Isaac, Ichabod, Nathaniel and Sarah. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 58 in 1702 in Stratford, Fairfield, CT.¹
