Mary Cathey

Mary was born in July 1742 in , Augusta, VA. Mary's father was Andrew Cathey and her mother was Rebecca Unknown. Her paternal grandparents were James Cathey and Ann Unknown. She had two brothers and two sisters, named William, James, Margaret and Ann. She was the second oldest of the five children.
