John Casto

John was born in 1738 in Turkey Point, Cumberland, NJ.¹   John's father was William Casto and his mother was Elizabeth Abbott.  His maternal grandparents were John Abbott and Elizabeth Nicholson. He had two brothers and two sisters, named William, David, Rhoda and Martha.  He was the youngest of the five children.
