Abel Casto 
Abel was born in 1834 in Nauvoo, Hancock, IL.1 Abel's father was Abel Casto and his mother was Mary Polly Galland. His paternal grandparents were Azariah Casto and Hannah Golden; his maternal grandparents were Matthew Galland and Hannah Fenno. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named William, Isaac, James B, Matthew Galland, Jonathan, John, George Washington, Eliza, Hannah, Jane and Susanna. He was the third youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 1 in 1835 in Nauvoo, Hancock, IL.1 -
