Charles Stoudemire
Chapin - Services for Charles Brady Stoudemire, 62, of 655 Amick's Ferry
Rd., will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2000 at St. Peter's
Lutheran Church, Chapin, with burial in the church cemetery. The family
will receive friends 6-8 tonight at Caughman-Harman Funeral Homes, Chapin
Chapel, which is in charge. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's
Lutheran Church.
Mr. Stoudemire died Friday, January 21, 2000. Born on December 18, 1937
in Lexington County, he was the son of Nellie Frick Stoudemire and the
late Samuel N. Stoudemire. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran
Church (Pineywoods). He was an Army veteran and served in Korea. He
served two years of active duty and four years in reserves. He was a
self-employed carpenter, having worked with David W. Frick for several
years.
Surviving are his wife, Annie Son Stoudemire of Chapin; son and
daughter-in-law, Zane and Linda Stoudemire; son and fiance's, Joseph
(Joe) Stoudemire and Peggy Rawls; grandchildren, Tyler and Brittany
Stoudemire, all of Chapin; mother of Chapin; brother and sister-in-law,
Ray and Patricia Stoudemrie of West Columbia; number of nieces and
nephews.
