Carl Lindler

Little Mountain -- Services for Carl Edgar Lindler, 93, of 1189 Wheeland
School Road, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter Lutheran
Church by the Rev. David Tholstrup. Burial will follow in the church
cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church fellowship hall
immediately following the committal service. The family suggests that
those desiring may make memorials to St. Peter Lutheran Church, 900
Dreher Island Road, Chapin, SC 29036. McSwain- Evans Funeral Home is in
charge.

Mr. Lindler died Friday at Newberry County Memorial Hospital. Born in
Newberry Co., he was a son of hte late John Wesley and Jane Boland
Lindler. He was an army veteran of World War II, a retired farmer and
former employee of th US Forestry Service. Mr. Lindler was a lifelong
member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his niece, Hattie Southerland of Little Mountain;
great-nephew, Jimmy Southerland of Little Mountain.
