Lancel's father is Sir Kevan Lannister and his mother is Lady Dorna Swyft. His paternal grandparents are Tytos Lannister and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents are Sir Harys Swyft and <Unknown>. He had two brothers and a sister, named Willem, Martyn and Janei.

General Notes
- A cousin to the main branch of House Lannister, Lancel is a youth of some 16 years. His hair is blonde, but more sandy than golden. He served as one of King Robert’s squires.
  
  Moved to Saltpans after fighting in the war and almost losing his life. Was near Death and revived by High Septon Baelor the Blessed on Quiet Isle. Married widow AMEREI (Frey) DARRY and was appointed Lord of Darry by Queen Cersei Lannister, with whom he was in love, and with whom he had a dalliance while at court.
  
  Having never fulfilled his marital vows, he is renouncing his lordship and his marriage to take vows and join the Warrior's sons -- Knights of the Faith.
