Gendry's father was King Robert Baratheon I and his mother is <Unknown>. His paternal grandparents were Lord Steffon Baratheon and Lady Cassana Estermont. He has a half-brother and a half-sister, named Edric and Mya.

General Notes
- Gendry, bastard son of Robert Baratheon, is a 14-year-old apprentice blacksmith, already large and muscular for his age, with shaggy black hair and blue eyes. A very stubborn youth who often is at odds with his fellow apprentices, he trained with the master smith Tobho Mott for most of his life.
  
  Gendry left King's Landing, bound as an orphan boy, for the Wall. He joined up with Arya Stark in her wanderings.
