John , known as Jack, was born on January 24th, 1920 in Tidworth. Jack's father was Arthur (Maggie) Ernest James Webb and his mother was Christina Louise Kemp. His paternal grandparents were John George Cecil Webb and Mary Sutton; his maternal grandparents were John Kemp and Maria Hasted. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Dick, Wally, Betty, Ronnie and Eva . He died at the age of 50 in 1970.
