Arthur was born about 1822 in Nk, Ireland. Arthur's father was Arthur Foskey and his mother was Maria Field. His paternal grandparents were John Foskey and Elizabeth Webb. He had three sisters named Catherine, Eliza and Maria. He was the second youngest of the four children.-
