Maier, known as Micu, was born in 1920 in Târgul Copoului.1  Micu's father was Getzl =HEB(Getzl געצל) Mişcovici (Myskowicz) {=Mişcovici's _th generation} and his mother was Olga =HEB()=YID(_) Elişcu {=Elişcu's _th generation}.  His paternal grandparents were Gavril =HEB(Gavriel גבריאל)=YID(Gavril גבריל) Mişcovici (Myskowicz) {=Mişcovici's _th generation} and Maris =HEB(Miriyam מרים)=YID(Mirl,Mariem מאריעם,מירל)=MIDGER(Merlen)=ROM(Marica,Mina)=RUS(Mara,Marina) “Mala” Solomon {=Solomon's _th generation}.  He was an only child.  He died in the Holocaust, d.on his way during the "29 Jun 1941" Pogrom, at the age of 21 on June 29th, 1941 in Mirceşti.1
