  Research explanation: The oral family story tells about at least two Broida brothers who were sent in the middle of the 19th century, from BA(Kamenetz-Podolsky) to RO(Botosani) in order to avoid the registration order of Jews into the Russian Army, known as the Cantonists' Order. The only found Broida rabbi in this area and period was R.Eli'ezer-Lipmann Broida, rabbi of Kamenetz. He was brother of R.Zvi (Hershele)
  Salanter, which explains Aron's and Sane's father's given name. He was also son of R.Aharon of Calvary, which explains Aron's given name. Nathan's given name could come from his maternal side.
