Ivy May Catherine was born on June 6th, 1912 in Sale, Victoria, Australia..  Ivy May Catherine's father was George Daniel Bird and her mother was Agnes Matilda Young.  Her maternal grandfather is Charles Edward Young and her maternal grandmother was Jane Belle Watt. She had a sister named Ruby Edith.  She was the older of the two children.  She died in Geelong Hospital, Geelong, Vic.,Aust..  She was buried in Fawkner Cemetery..
