Stefan was born on February 29th, 1928 in Rudawiec, gmina Włczyn, powiat Brześć nad Bugiem, Polesie, Polska (now the Republic of Belarus).  Stefan's father was Józef Polaczuk and his mother was Anastazja Polaczuk (Proniewicz).  His paternal grandparents are Maksymilian Polaczuk and Anastazja Polaczuk. He had three brothers named Mikołaj, Michał and Władysław. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Marian, Danuta and Halina.  He died at the age of 49 on May 26th, 1977 in Bydgoszcz.1 



Stefan's family

Stefan and Marianna were married.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Andrzej, Piotr, Halina and Irena.
