Walter Elkington 
Walter was born in July 1862 in West Derby, Lancashire, England.1 Walter's father was William Elkington and his mother was Alice Hartley . His paternal grandparents are William Elkington and <Unknown>; his maternal grandfather is John HARTLEY. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John, William Henry, Mary Jane, Emily and Elizabeth Ann. He died at the age of 66 in March 1929 in West Derby, Liverpool.2 General Notes
