    see by the timeline on Myfamily.com that you have the information on Dad's time in Wyoming Industrial Institute.  According to the paper I have, He was sentenced on 21 February 1922, was delivered at the Wyoming Industrial Institute on March 5, 1922 by John Zane.   number 396.  He was convicted  and sentenced in Basin, on the charge of voluntary {purgery}(sp). violation of the marriage laws.  Sentence not to exceed 2 years.  In another place or two it states not less than one and not to exceed two years.  Then according to the document signed by the Governor he was discharged on December 24, 1922 for good conduct as stated by the superintendant of the Wyoming Industrial Institute.

    Here is the information about the "crime" according to the District court document:
    
    Comes now F. A. Little, County and prosecuting Attorney of the County of Big Horn, in the State of Wyoming, and in the name and by the authority of the State of Wyoming, informs the Court and gives the Court to understand that   Eldon Sanders  late of the County aforesaid, on the 20th day of February A.D. 1922 in the County of Big Horn, in the State of Wyoming, did wilfully, unlawfully and feloniously, falsely and corruptly, under oath, voluntarily make a false affidavit and statement for the purpose of assisting one Tom McCarty in procuring a marriage license unlawfully, from Berenice Dodge, Deputy County Clerk of Big Horn County, Wyoming, an officer duly authorized to administer oath and who did administer an oath to said Eldon Sanders, and he the said Eldon Sanders after having had said oath duly administered by said officer, which said officer had full power to administer the same did voluntarily swear that he was acquainted with one Tom McCarty and that said Tom McCarty was on said 20th day of February, 1922 over the age of 21 years and he the said Eldon Sanders did voluntarily swear that he was acquainted with one Julia Moore and that she the said Julia Moore was on said 20th day of February, 1922 over the age of 21 years, and he the said Eldon Sanders did further voluntarily swear that he was at that time competent to make said statements, all of which statements were made with the intention of unlawfully procuring a marriage license from said deputy county clerk for the marriage of said Tom McCarty to said Julia Moore, that said statements were false in that said Tom McCarty was of the age of 20 years and that said Julia Moore was of the age of 14 years and said Eldon Sanders was of the age of 16 years at the time of the making of said affidavit, all of which facts were known to the said Eldon Sanders at the time of making said affidavit, and he the said Eldon  Sanders did then and there and thereby commit the crime of voluntary perjury.
    
    On Judgement and sentence of the court it indicates he was "convicted by his plea of guilty."  P.W. Metz was the judge who signed the sentencing document.
