William Maxwell

William was born in 1555 in Terregles, Dumfries-shire, , Scotland.¹ William's father was John Maxwell and his mother was Agnes Herries. His paternal grandparents were Robert Maxwell and Janet Douglas. He was an only child. He died at the age of 49 on October 10th, 1604.²
