Margaret Maxwell

Margaret was born in 1579 in , Dumfries-shire, , Scotland.¹ Margaret's father was John Maxwell and her mother was Elizabeth Douglas. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Maxwell and Beatrix Douglas. She had a sister named Elizabeth. She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 18 in 1597.¹
