Robert was born in 1590 in Hingham, Norfolk, , England.1   Robert's father was Daniel Mason.  His paternal grandfather is Peter Mason. He had a brother named Major John.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 77 on October 15th, 1667 in Dedham, Norfolk, Massachusetts, United States.1
