Andreas Bertram was born in 1717 in Schoningen, Brunswick, Thueringen, Germany.1   Andreas Bertram's father was Johann Conrad Kniep.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 25 on November 22nd, 1742 in Schöningen, Helmstedt, Niedersachsen, Germany.1
