Sir Ewen Dubh 18th Clan Chief Cameron

Sir Ewen Dubh 18th Clan Chief was born on February 29th, 1628 in Lochiel, Inverness-shire, Scotland.¹ Sir Ewen Dubh 18th Clan Chief's father was John Lochiel Cameron and his mother is Margaret Campbell. His paternal grandfather was Allan of Lochiel, Xvi Chief Cameron. He was an only child. He died at the age of 91 in 1719 in Aged, Ash Sharqiyah, Oman.¹

- Clan Cameron is a West Highland Scottish clan, with one main branch Lochiel, and numerous cadet branches such as Erracht, Clunes, Glen Nevis, and Fassifern. The Clan Cameron lands are in Lochaber and within their lands is the mountain Ben Nevis which is the highest mountain in the British Isles.[2] The chief of the clan is customarily referred to as simply "Lochiel".
