    Obituary: Oxford - Kenneth E. Spinney, 86, of West Street died Friday night in  The Medical Center of Central Massachusetts - Memorial, Worcester, after a long illness.
    He leaves his wife, Mayfred D. (Crocker) Spinney; a son, Philip Spinney of Oxford; a daughter, Geraldine Smith of Sutton; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Mr. and Mrs. Spinney were married April 4, 1931. He was born in Harmony, Nova Scotia, Canada, son of George E. and Martha (Saunders) Spinney, and lived in Worcester 61 years.
    He was a resizer in the abrasives division of Norton Co. in Worcester for 27 years, retiring in 1969.
    Mr. Spinney was a 46-year member of First Congregational Church, where he was a longtime sexton and deacon. He was a member of Oxford Lodge of Masons.
    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in First Congregational Church, Main Street. Burial will be in North Cemetery. Calling hours at Lullmann-Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Members of the Oxford Lodge of Masons will meet there at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow to conduct a service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Congregational Church, Main Street, Oxford, 01540.
