Joseph Oakman Spinney

Joseph was born on November 19th, 1837 in Maine. Joseph's father was William M. Spinney and his mother was Margery E. Oliver. His paternal grandparents were Nicholas Spinney and Susanna Burgess; his maternal grandparents are Benjamin Oliver and Hannah. He had four brothers and a sister, named Oren, Anson, Benjamin, Nicholas and Margery. He was the fifth oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Robert, Rose, Mary and Almsha. He died at the age of 78 on August 29th, 1916 in Iowa.
