John L. Spinney

John was born on June 1st, 1904. John's father was Lewis Leonard Spinney and his mother was Annie L. Ward. His paternal grandparents were George Craft Spinney and Elizabeth Long; his maternal grandparents are Ebenezer Ward and Elizabeth English. He had four brothers and four sisters, named George, William, Frank, Harold, Gladys, Elsie, Molly and Mildred. He was the eighth oldest of the nine children.
