      Mrs. H. Patterson
    
    On Monday, 20th, Fanny, beloved wife of Mr. Herman Patterson, was stricken with cerebral hemorrage and only lived an hour. She was in her usual health when her husband left home to go to Auburn on business. When he arrived there, he received a telephone message that she was dead. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband and three children, Mrs. Bessie Gray, of Penobscot, Me., Arthur of Petersham, Mass., and Mrs. Eva Shepherd, of Marlboro, Mass., who was with her mother when she died. An aged father and mother, Mr. & Mrs. Samuel Spinney, also mourn the loss of a loved and loving daughter.
    The funeral which took place on Thursday morning at Greenwood Church was conducted by her pastor, the Rev. Norman A. Whitman, and the Methodist pastor, Rev. H. L. Eisenhaur. The Oddfellows and Rebekahs attended in body.
    Mrs. Patterson was a typical Rebekah, always to be found where she could do the most good. She will be greatly missed from the church and choir of which she was a member.
    Among the floral offerings was a beautiful wreath from Evangeline Rebekah Lodge. The sympathy of the community is with Mr. Patterson and family in their sad and sudden bereavement.
