George Richard McHugh

George was born on November 22nd, 1885 in Pennfield, New Brunswick. George's father was Hugh McHugh and his mother was Mary Ellen Spinney. His paternal grandparents are Daniel McHugh and Nancy McKeever; his maternal grandfather was Alfred Hurley Spinney and his maternal grandmother is Catherine Anne McPike. He had eight brothers and six sisters, named James, Joseph, Charles, Ned, Raymond, Thomas, Clarence, Conrad, Mary, Bertha, Alice, Irene, Margaret and Sarah. He was the fifth oldest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 50 on December 30th, 1935 in St. Stephen, New Brunswick.
