Thomas' father was Henry Kembold and his mother was Cecelia Cisila Sysley. His paternal grandparents were Henry Kembold and Marion. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Richard, Richard, Priscilla, Agnes and Margaret. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died after 1582 in Suffolk County, England.¹
