Jane was born in 1726 in Leicester, Worcester County, Massachusetts.1   Jane's father was Samuel Barnes and her mother was Martha.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 88 on January 20th, 1814 in Colchester County, Nova Scotia.  She was buried in Onslow, Colchester County, Nova Scotia.1 1
