Rose Anna was born on May 6th, 1873 in Clay Township,IN.  Rose Anna's father was Samuel Krieter and her mother was Catherine Paulus.  Her maternal grandparents are Daniel Paulus and Mariah. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Newton Monrow, Henery Elmer, Thomas Danial, Charles Silvanus, Jeremiah Alen, Samuel Oda, Lily Eta, Mary Minetta and Esta Ellis.  She is the seventh oldest of the ten children.
