Phillip Thomas 
Phillip was born in March 1863. Phillip's father was David Thomas and his mother was Ann Williams. His paternal grandparents were Phillip Thomas and Sarah Davies; his maternal grandparents were David Williams and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and four sisters, named David, John, Thomas, Arthur, Sarah, Mary Ann, Elizabeth and Hannah. He was the oldest of the nine children.General Notes
Born Llanguicke. He emigrated to the village of Lisbon in Ohio in 1892. His wife and children followed in 1894. They were listed in the Ohio census in 1900, but by 1911 they had moved back to Wales, in Pontardawe. On the Ohio census, Phillip is listed as illiterate, however his wife and children are all literate.
