John Philip Illtyd David 
John was born in 1928 in Newtown. John's father was Alexander Charles Robert David and his mother was Edrica Doris Jane Pole Evans. His maternal grandparents were Rev Daniel Evans and Caroline Jane Pole. He had two brothers and a sister, named Robert, James and Vivian . He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 76 on March 24th, 2004 in Llandeilo.-
