Sir Michael Stanhope 
Michael's father was Edward Stanhope and his mother was Avelina Clifton. His paternal grandparents were Sir Thomas Stanhope and Mary Jerningham; his maternal grandparents were Sir Gervase Clifton and ?. He was an only child. He died by execution on February 25th, 1552 in Tower Hill.Death Notes

Sir Michael Stanhope was invested as a Knight in 1545 by King Henry VIII. He was involved in the fall of his brother-in-law, the Duke of Somerset, and was charged with plotting the death of Dudley, Duke of Northumberland. He was beheaded along with Sir Thomas Arundel.
