Sir Francis Knollys 
Francis was born in 1511. Francis' father was Robert Knollys and his mother was Lettice Peniston. His paternal grandparents were Robert Knollys and Elizabeth Troutbeck. He was an only child. He died at the age of 85 on July 19th, 1596.General Notes
Sir Francis Knollys (c.1511 – 19 July 1596) of Rotherfield Greys, Oxfordshire, KG (c. 1514 – 19 July 1596) was a courtier in the service of Henry VIII, Edward VI and Elizabeth I, and was a member of parliament for a number of constituencies.
