Catherine was born in 1598 in Kingsweare, Devonshire, England, Uk and her baptism took place on April 2nd, 1599 in St. Omer, Normandy, France.  Catherine's father was Alexander S. SHAPLEIGH and her mother was Mrs. Alexander SHAPLEIGH.  Her paternal grandfather is Robert SHAPLEIGH and her paternal grandmother was Marie BLABON; her maternal grandfather was (Unknown) BLOEDEL. She had four brothers and nine sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Alexander, Nicholas, Nicholas, George, Catharine, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Avis, Avis, Judith, Margaret, Grace and Alexander.  She died at the age of 78 on May 29th, 1676 in Exeter, Hampton, Nh.  Her burial was before May 30th, 1676 in Exeter, Hampton, Nh.
